Every child arrives with intelligence

At ISL we expand the landscape of what they can become.

Behind many early years decisions is a quiet question: Are we giving our child the right start?

The fear that one missed milestone, one wrong choice, might narrow their future before it really begins. We start with a different centre here at the Indian School of Leadership: building on what the child already has.

A child’s many intelligences show up early - in how they build, care, imagine, question, move, and connect with the world around them.

Some children build before they speak.
Some question endlessly.
Some lead through care.
Some observe quietly before they leap in.

Children at ISL are encouraged to ask questions, test ideas, work with others, take responsibility, and stay with a problem long enough to solve it.

Over time, this builds more than school readiness. It builds self reliance, confidence and the ability to engage with the world thoughtfully.

At ISL Early Years, these foundations are not treated as secondary to learning. They are learning.

The ISL approach

We build on every child’s capability, character, and creativity.

We  expand these intelligences with mindful experiences on how children build together, how they are trusted with small responsibilities, how their questions are met.

Capability

Helping children build confidence in their own thinking, problem solving, and ability to navigate new situations.

Capability

Helping children develop empathy, responsibility, resilience, and meaningful relationships with others.

Capability

Giving children the freedom to imagine, express, experiment, and explore the world in their own way.

Inside ISL’s Early Years experience

Capability, character, and creativity  are built through the rhythms, rituals, spaces, and experiences children encounter every day.

Learn with depth

Children are encouraged to question, investigate, explain, and build confidence in their own thinking.

This comes alive through:

Story-led case learning (social-emotional development)

Hands‑on discovery and maker experiences (STEM for preschoolers)

Spotlight presentations (communication skills)

Peer learning moments (collaboration)

Exploration across multiple intelligences (whole‑child growth)

An environment that moves with your child

The roof is the playground. The ground is the classroom. No separation between learning and play.

A Day in the life at ISL
