Senior Teacher — Early Years
Lead an Early Years classroom at our Bannerghatta Road centre — planning and delivering the Cambridge Early Years curriculum with warmth, structure and strong developmental intent.
The Indian School of Leadership is looking for a warm, capable and committed educator to lead an Early Years classroom at our Bannerghatta Road preschool centre. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children, believes in learning through care and structure, and can create a safe, engaging and joyful classroom.
This role is central to the everyday experience of children and families at ISL. As Senior Teacher you lead the classroom, drive planning and delivery of the Cambridge Early Years curriculum, mentor support staff where required, and work closely with school leadership and parents to ensure strong developmental outcomes for every child.

What you'll do
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning experiences aligned with the Cambridge Early Years curriculum.
- Lead the classroom with warmth, structure and strong developmental intent.
- Observe children closely and maintain clear records of progress and classroom needs.
- Build strong communication with parents about child development, routines and concerns.
- Create a safe, engaging and well-organised classroom environment.
- Work closely with Assistant Teachers and centre leadership to ensure consistency and quality, mentoring support staff where required.
- Participate in events, open houses and school activities as required.
What you'll bring
- Hands-on experience teaching the Cambridge Early Years curriculum — this is essential for the role.
- Bachelor's degree with NTT / Montessori / Early Childhood Education / B.Ed. (or a related qualification).
- Relevant preschool teaching experience, including leading a classroom.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a warm, patient, child-centred approach.
- Classroom organisation and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well within a team and contribute positively to school culture.
- Professionalism, punctuality and reliability, with a genuine interest in early childhood development and learning.
Good to have
- Experience mentoring or guiding Assistant Teachers.
